Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 2: Liang Eng Hwa on international architecture and norms
In parliament on Monday (Mar 3), MP Liang Eng Hwa noted that Singapore will nominate its Ambassador for International Law Rena Lee for election as a judge of the International Court of Justice in November 2026. Expressing support for the nomination, he asked the Foreign Affairs Minister to share the government’s thinking behind her nomination and how this would contribute Singapore’s part towards the upholding of international rule of law.
