Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 3: Hany Soh on public health and hygiene
When it comes to public hygiene, the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) should continue its focus on three areas - tackling high-rise littering, dealing with unhygienic public toilets and stepping up rat control efforts, said MP Hany Soh in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4). She asked MSE to provide an update on its plans and efforts in these areas. With 2024 designated as the Year of Public Hygiene (YOPH), Ms Soh also sought an update from the ministry on how YOPH has turned out.
