In parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), NMP Usha Chandradas asked for an update on Singapore’s position with regard to three international conventions. She said these conventions could strengthen the country’s position as a global wealth management and family office hub, enhance legal certainty in cross-border disputes, simplify estate and succession planning for internationally connected families and provide greater safeguards for vulnerable individuals who are based in Singapore.
