K Shanmugam in debate on securing Singaporeans’ jobs and livelihoods, and foreign talent policy
In Parliament on Tuesday (Sep 14), Law and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam sought clarifications from NCMP Leong Mun Wai relating to his motion on foreign talent policy. These included whether he was in favour of free trade agreements but specifically opposed the one with India, called CECA; and also whether members of Mr Leong’s own Progress Singapore Party had interpreted his previous statements as racist.
