In his second and final presidential candidate broadcast for Singapore's 2023 Presidential Election, candidate Tharman Shanmugaratnam says he comes with a track record of connecting with people from all backgrounds in Jurong.
In his message, which was broadcast on Wednesday (Aug 30), Mr Tharman positioned his record of working on the ground as one of three key areas of experience that differentiated him from his two fellow candidates, former GIC chief investment officer Ng Kok Song and ex-NTUC Income chief Tan Kin Lian.
