SIT to allow firms to tap into its facilities and students to develop tech innovations
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is opening its doors for firms to tap into its infrastructure, collaborations and student talent. This will help to test and develop innovations, be it in AI, cybersecurity or even healthcare. Companies can have access to resources and expertise amid the wider Punggol Digital District, where the university sits in. Students, in turn, will enjoy more internship and work opportunities. At the opening of SIT's Punggol Campus, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong says it can be an ecosystem for closer partnerships among companies, students and the government. Muhammad Bahajjaj reports.
