Gerald is the co-host of CNA's Work It podcast, where he and Nat Fetalvero tackle everything in the world of work, from making a career switch to acing an interview.

Gerald is passionate about the advocacy and use of career development to help people find meaning and purpose in their careers. As the Projects Director and a Lead Career Developer at Avodah People Solutions, he has supported more than 500 individuals since 2018 with their career needs through career counseling, coaching and educating on a group or one-to-one basis. He has partnered with various local and regional universities, companies, and non-profit organisations on career development projects to support students, employees and their beneficiaries.

Gerald gained his deep knowledge of career transitions from a decade of experience in the Singapore Public Service, where he worked in workforce development and public employment services. His experiences include reviewing unemployment support policies, designing and operating career services for the public, and leading a team to develop skills and training advisory services for Singapore. 

Gerald also had stints in Human Resources and has provided outplacement services to displaced employees.
