Japan January factory output falls 1.1% month-on-month

TOKYO : Japan's factory output fell 1.1 per cent in January from the previous month, roughly in line with a median market forecast for a 1.2 per cent decline, government data showed on Friday.
Manufacturers surveyed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry expect seasonally adjusted output to increase 5.0 per cent in February and fall 2.0 per cent in March.
