Taiwan's Foxconn books 2% fall in fourth-quarter profit, lags forecasts

TAIPEI, March 16 : Taiwan's Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics maker, reported on Monday a 2.4 per cent fall in fourth-quarter profit versus the same period a year earlier, lagging estimates.
Net profit for October-December for Nvidia's biggest server maker and Apple's top iPhone assembler was T$45.51 billion ($1.42 billion), versus an LSEG consensus estimate of T$63.86 billion.
