Forget eyebrow embroidery! There’s an eyebrow extension product that fills your sparse brows with hairs
Good news: The latest Japanese eyebrow makeup product, which has gotten the internet abuzz, is finally coming to Singapore.
Meet Reallyyy!? (yes, it’s the product’s actual name), an eyebrow extension product that aims to create fuller-looking brows with its unique clear gel formula containing fibres that look like real hair.
This might just be your new go-to method to bringing accidentally over-tweezed eyebrows or sparse arches back to life without having to commit to a treatment like embroidery (which is a great, albeit a tad pricey way to getting awesome brows).
Available in two shades – black and natural – the gel, which goes on sticky, dries to a matte finish in just five minutes and apparently won’t budge for the rest of the day. To remove, simply wipe off with some warm water.
It may take some practice to nail a natural finish though. When using the product for the first time, it is recommended that you experiment with application on the back of your hand before using it straight on your brows. The technique: Go slow, with a light hand, adding 1 to 2 fibres at a time. Avoid using too much product at once – you won’t want to end up looking like cartoon character Crayon Shin – and if you are using other brow products, this gel goes on last.
And if scent matters to you, this has a sweet floral one - which might help take your mind off the icky appearance of real-hair-looking fibres swimming in a pot of clear gel.
