Fann Wong alerts fans not to fall for scammer who’s impersonating her online
The veteran local actress posted a message on social media warning her followers not to disclose their personal information to this fake account.

Following Fann Wong on social media? Be careful not to fall for a scam by someone impersonating the actress online.
The local veteran actress herself has taken to Instagram and Facebook to warn fans of the scammer who is trying to get unsuspecting users’ personal information by dangling a prize.
Wong posted on her social media platforms on Tuesday (Jul 21) telling her followers about the scammer who's using a similar name. She also advised them not to "release personal informations (sic) to any unverified account.”
The scam requires users to register their names on a website in order to receive a $5 giveaway, which would be sent automatically to their account.
Wong also took a snide jab at the culprits in her post, writing in Chinese that if they had put this much energy towards finding a proper job, they would probably have a successful career by now.
