In ‘Made in SG’ Melanie Oliveiro speaks with eco-art creator Cherie Ng who is also the lead artist for the North East Mega Giant Delight installation. It’s part of Giant Delight SG60 - which comes under the PAssionArts Festival – that features 18 super-sized, interactive art installations co-created by artists and residents, each celebrating unique neighbourhood stories across Singapore. Ng will talk about being the lead artist for the North East Mega Giant Delight installation “Living Side by Side”, and how she was involved in a total of 5 out of the 18 Giant Delight installations. Ng will also discuss how she worked with the community to decorate the installations/pods. Joining in the conversation is People’s Association’s Ting Min Er, who leads the Giant Delight programme.

In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with American 3D pop artist Charles Fazzino who talks how he partnered with Bruno Gallery Singapore to unveil a new body of work: “The Unbelievable Island of Singapore at 60”. Fazzino will explain how he was inspired to create artworks in honour of Singapore’s 60th birthday with an exclusive series of 120 limited-edition 3D decoupage artworks, with the collection being presented in two variations - 60 “Day Edition” and 60 “Night Edition” pieces. Fazzino will also talk about who, and what, inspires his craft.

Josiah Chow recalls how he started his own business selling traditional sauces via his channel “SG Cultured Boi”. Daren Teo – known as “The Pantry Boy” – will talk about how he blends different culinary influences into his recipes. Both Chow and Teo will also talk about their different styles of content creation and how food is their passion.

New disclosures from current and former Meta employees allege the company has been hiding internal research pointing to serious risks to children in its virtual reality (VR) platforms. Meta strongly disputes the allegations, saying it has conducted youth safety research, added parental controls, default privacy measures for teenagers, and that its legal interventions were meant to ensure compliance with privacy laws – not to cover up problems.
