It's an experience that has been dubbed "glass children syndrome", when the siblings of individuals with special needs feel like their own emotional needs are being overlooked — as though they were made of glass. In this conversation, Isabelle and her mother, Janice, share how their relationship has healed and grown stronger through the challenges of caring for a family member with special needs.
