When Jonty Tan was two, his parents relocated the family to the United Kingdom. Almost thirty years later, on a trip back to Singapore that was meant to be a holiday, something in him awakened, sparking a journey that would see him bring his own family — wife and two young children — back to the country of his birth, and re-root himself here. Jonty, whose autobiography is entitled "The Local Immigrant", also runs a Youtube channel "Wanderlust" which documents his family's adventures discovering the island they've called home since 2020.
