In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Filippo Montanari, State Ballet of Georgia soloist who plays Prince Siegfried, the romantic lead in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. The evergreen ballet performance is now staging for a limited period at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands. Montanari will talk more about how he prepared for the role of Prince Siegfried, a young prince who falls in love with Odette, the Swan Queen cursed by an evil sorcerer to be a swan by day. Montanari will talk about his career so far and will also discuss challenging stereotypes about men in ballet.
