She’ll speak with the co-founders of CUBE Social @ Boat Quay, a new capsule hotel in a restored heritage shophouse along the Singapore River.  CEO Mohd K Rafin and founder/COO Sonia Anya Tay will talk about the insides and interior of the various capsule hotel rooms and what it’s like to sleep and spend time in one. They’ll also talk about CUBE Social @ Boat Quay’s women-only section, various shared spaces and the hotel’s private soundproof booth.

In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro finds out what’s happening at this year’s 16th Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) running from May 22 - 25. Singapore Book Council’s executive director, William Phuan, will explain the chosen theme “Discovery” and why the festival is focusing on South Korea. Phuan will also describe how AFCC 2025 will reveal game-changing storytelling trends and other innovations in traditional methods of learning. AFCC 2025 boasts over 60 writers and speakers, with Singapore’s Lianne Ong and Shawn Seah describing their involvement.
