In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Singaporean singer-songwriter-producer Syaz Smooth about his new mini album ‘Bersamamu’, which means "With You" in the Malay language. Syaz will explain how ‘Bersamamu’ is a tribute to his late brother and fellow singer-songwriter Shahfiq who died in a traffic accident in 2024 at the tender age of 27. Syaz will talk about the themes he addresses in the EP - grief, love, healing, and remembrance.

CNA938 Rewind - From A to D – Sodium-heavy products to have Nutri-Grade labels by mid-2027

Prepacked salt, seasonings and instant noodles are among the items which will be graded from A to D from mid-2027, under an extension of Nutri-Grade requirements to key contributors of sodium and saturated fat. There'll also be advertising restrictions similar to what’s being done for drinks now. Andrea Heng and Hairianto Diman look at how much of an incentive this labelling will have on producers to innovate their food products to achieve a better grading.
