Under a ban that recently took effect, bicycles and non-motorised personal mobility devices like kick-scooters are disallowed from riding on lanes adjacent to cycling paths, which have been converted to pedestrian-only lanes. Many cyclists have shared that the new rule is confusing and that enforcement should also apply to pedestrians who frequently walk on cycling lanes.
