In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro finds out where fans can go to watch three respected local musicians and performers - representing different generations of Singapore music. They can do so by getting tickets to watch Bennett Bay, Leslie Low, and Lim Kiang in a special one-night-only acoustic showcase called “Troubadour”. Organiser Christopher Rodrigo will talk about what music fans will be treated to like Bay’s ambient instrumentals and Kiang’s psychedelic tunes which come from his time with The Straydogs, a pioneering Singaporean blues-rock band. Indie music icon Leslie Low will tease his setlist and comment on how Singapore’s local music scene has evolved over the decades.
