In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro examines a children’s book with a difference, ‘The Adventure Jar’, an illustrated story helping young readers understand the impact of breast cancer through a gentle, age-appropriate lens. ‘The Adventure Jar’, is a book developed by biopharma company, Gilead, in collaboration with Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), the Singapore non-profit organisation. BCF’s Mae Pang and breast cancer patient, Chen Yi, will discuss how they’ve used the book to encourage open conversations about illness, emotional resilience, and the power of family support.
