The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said there are no plans to fully liberalise cross-border point-to-point transport via ride-hail services. But LTA noted that it’s considering the use of ride-hailing apps to book cross-border trips on licensed taxis and increasing the number of boarding and alighting points in Singapore and Malaysia. Goh Weihan secured a full-time job at a top US bank before graduating, is the recipient of two scholarships, teaches coding and AI part-time, and is an avid table tennis para-athlete. Weihan clearly hasn't let muscular dystrophy — which he was diagnosed with when he was 10 — hold him back. He graduated recently with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, focussing on AI with a second major in quantitative finance, and is currently finishing his Masters in IT in Business, both from the Singapore Management University. Weihan shares the most valuable lessons he's gained through his journey of grit and self-belief.
