Singapore’s visitor arrivals dropped to 1.36 million in April, compared to March, when concerts by the likes of Taylor Swift hit a fever pitch. While it’s the weakest so far in 2024, it’s still stronger compared to the year before. So are big concerts with a strong celebrity pull the only metric that makes a difference in our tourism earnings? And what is the benchmark we’re aiming for?
