The 2-part miniseries coincides with SG60 i.e. Singapore’s 60th year of independence. Gurmit will talk about some of the issues he addressed in the series: how to age healthily and with purpose; and self-discovery travels when he visited Japan and India - countries that hold deep roots for his family. “Born in 1965” airs on 1st & 2nd March 2025, coinciding with Gurmit’s birthday month.
