Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Dr Isabella Der Hagopian, General Practitioner and Manuel Der Hagopian, Co-founder and Partner at G8A Architects, the authors of ‘Pink Chilli in a Bowl’. The book is a tribute to the eateries, confectioneries, landmarks and diverse architectures of Singapore – and a network of social spaces that link them. Launched in celebration of Archifest 2023, the authors will discuss how the book was inspired by the people who cook for us and feed us at hawker centers, coffee shops and family-run eateries.

Britain's Prince William handed out awards to five extraordinary organisations making a positive impact on the earth's health. One of the winners was Accion Andina, which works with works with communities in the Andes mountain region to protect and restore the native forests and ecosystems.
