But now, we’re focusing on our future response should there be another pandemic. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong says ‘trust’ is the 'most precious resource' critical in Singapore's Covid-19 response. One study shows higher levels of trust in the government and among the population means greater compliance with Covid-19 restrictions and higher vaccination rates. Dr Vincent Pang, Assistant Professor, Duke-NUS Medical School, tells Arnold & Andrea that trust is not created overnight.
