Daily Cuts - Indian restaurants get to hire from non-traditional sources!

From 1 September, some businesses will be allowed to hire workers from what’s called the Non-Traditional Source (NTS) Occupation List. Services and manufacturing firms will be allowed to hire work permit holders from additional countries – Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Thailand. There are now a total of nine under the NTS Occupation List. Among them are housekeepers, porters and cooks in Indian restaurants. S.
