For the top five movies, 61% of the viewers were women, the highest percentage on record. Professor Ying Zhu is from the Academy of Film at Hong Kong Baptist University. She’s also author of the book, ‘Hollywood in China Behind the Scenes of the World’s Largest Movie Market’. She tells Arnold & Andrea why women are rushing to the cinemas.
