World Hepatitis Day falls on 28 July. Hepatitis is a cluster of viral infections that lead to liver inflammation. While some cases may be asymptomatic or mild, others can pose life-threatening risks. Dr Margaret Teng is Consultant of Hepatology & Gastroenterology at the Department of Medicine, Alexandra Hospital. She tells Arnold & Nadirah how prevalent hepatitis is here in Singapore.
