K-pop superstars BTS to appear for entire week on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show
RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook will be performing a different number each night on the show, including their latest hit, Dynamite.
Good news, ARMYs. BTS will be appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for an entire week, starting Monday (Sep 28) until Oct 2.
The K-pop boy band will be performing a different musical number each night, including their history-making, Billboard chart-topping hit, Dynamite.
This isn’t the first time RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have been on the show. The last time was in February where they took over New York’s Grand Central Station for a performance of their song, On.
BTS Week on The Tonight Show will not only have performances, the band members will also serve as lead guests on Sep 30, their third night. There will also be skits with host Fallon and virtual interviews.
Fallon said in a statement: “We love having BTS on the show. These guys are incredible, and you just know they’re going to go above and beyond to make their performance unforgettable. Last time we had them on we took over Grand Central Terminal, so we had our work cut out for us to top that. And what’s better than one night with BTS ... a full week!”
BTS made history in late August as the first all-South Korean act to top the US Billboard single charts with their song, Dynamite, which also broke YouTube’s record of most views in 24 hours at 101.1 million.
