Andrea Heng

Andrea made her on-air debut on the campus radio station at Ngee Ann Polytechnic — and today, she anchors two of CNA938's essential programmes. The Morning Report (weekdays, 8–10am) sets the agenda for the day, delivering the biggest stories from Singapore and the world. Open For Business (weekdays, 7–8am) keeps business and markets listeners sharp before the trading day begins.

On-demand, she helms CNA's Money Talks podcast — a weekly personal finance show averaging 60,000 listeners a month, which has taken home the Radiodays Asia Best Money and Business Podcast award two years running, a W3 Gold Award, and earned Andrea the title of Investor Education Journalist of the Year at the 2023 and 2025 Securities Investors Association (Singapore) awards.

Her career spans print, marketing, and broadcasting. She cut her teeth in magazines, profiling figures like the late architect Zaha Hadid and jazz singer Laura Fygi. A pivot to marketing and branding followed, where she picked up a Red Dot Design Award for an international skincare campaign.

She made her TV broadcasting debut as Asia Business Correspondent for Deutsche Welle before bringing her reporting to national radio — covering Singapore's general elections, the Covid-19 pandemic, and the full sweep of Asian business news.

Andrea also co-hosts Money Mind on CNA TV. She holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham.
