Chua Chu Kang GRC launches cohesiveness plan
Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency (GRC) has launched a new vision for its residents, called "One B.I.G Family".
Some 3,000 Chua Chu Kang GRC residents gathered on Sunday morning for a family event, where the "One B.I.G Family" vision was launched.
SINGAPORE: Chua Chu Kang Group Representation Constituency (GRC) has launched a new vision for its residents, called "One B.I.G Family".
B.I.G stands for "Beautiful, Inclusive and Gracious".
The vision was launched on Sunday morning at a family event, attended by about 3,000 residents.
It would focus on initiatives such as improving the environment and reaching out to needy families.
It would also engage more residents to get them to do their part for their community.
Residents also got a special preview of the official mascot for the Singapore National Games and the CCK Cluster Mascot.
Member of Parliament for Chua Chu Kang GRC Gan Kim Yong said: "To nurture a gracious society, we hope to be able to roll out more programmes to engage our residents, provide opportunities and platforms for them to come together, to participate in activities like what we have today, to get to know one another, and by increasing mutual understanding, we hope we will be able to be more gracious towards one another."
