COE prices close mixed at end of Jan 6 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mixed at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Jan 6).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went up by 0.13 per cent to S$40,609.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went down from S$49,300 in the previous bidding exercise to S$49,001.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went up slightly by 1.99 per cent to S$35,900.

In the motorcycle category, premiums dropped to S$7,501, compared with S$7,689 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums fell slightly by 0.02 per cent to S$49,489.
