COE prices close mixed at end of May 5 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mixed at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (May 5).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 3.3 per cent to S$48,002.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums fell from S$61,190 in the previous bidding exercise to S$60,001.

For goods vehicles and buses, prices similarly dropped by 2.27 per cent to S$43,001.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$8,011, compared with S$8,000 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went up by 1.45 per cent to S$63,002.
