COE prices close mixed for July 17 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mixed at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (July 17).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 6.72 per cent to S$26,667.

Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) saw premiums increased from S$34,000 in the previous bidding exercise to S$39,406.

Meanwhile, COE prices for goods vehicles and buses dipped by 1.95 per cent to S$24,599.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$3,554, compared to S$3,081 in the previous bidding exercise.

Finally, in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums went up by 8.1 per cent to S$39,889.
