COE prices close mostly higher at end of Dec 23 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly higher at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Dec 23).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 0.39 per cent to S$40,556.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went up from S$45,012 in the previous bidding exercise to S$49,300.

Prices went up, too, for goods vehicles and buses — by 7.03 per cent to S$35,201.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$7,689, compared with S$7,670 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went up by 8.77 per cent to S$49,500.
