COE prices mostly fall after Feb 5 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mostly lower at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Feb 5).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went down by 14.28 per cent to S$30,010.

Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) saw premiums go down from S$37,705 in the previous bidding exercise to S$30,890.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went up slightly by 0.05 per cent to S$25,013.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down to S$4,401, compared to S$4,610 in the previous bidding exercise.

In the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums went down by 6.93 per cent to S$34,900.
