SINGAPORE — Due to a technical glitch with the recently-updated Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board’s website, Mr Peter Lim has not been able to download his CPF statements since last Saturday (Nov 28).
Mr Lim, 50, needed his latest CPF statements to apply for MediFund and had gone down to the Woodlands CPF office on Monday to wait in line for his statements. However, he was still unable to retrieve his CPF statements.
Eventually, the hospital decided to waive the need for Mr Lim’s CPF statements as his was a renewal case.
“I was also surprised that CPF did not say the expected date that the issue will be resolved or what exactly caused this problem," Mr Lim said.
In a notice on CPF Board’s website, it said that online services are unavailable due to “technical issues” from a recent website update.
“We are working with our IT vendor to resume online services as soon as possible,” said the CPF Board.
The CPF is also extending their queue ticket issuance timing to 5pm — from 4pm previously — on weekdays at service services at Bishan, Jurong, Robinson Road, Tampines and Woodlands. CPF call centres’ operating hours will also be extended to 6pm on weekdays.
In a statement to TODAY at around 9.55pm, the CPF Board said that selected online services were now available. Members for instance can log in to the My CPF Online Services to check and print their account balances, contribution history and transaction history.
Employers can continue to perform their CPF e-submissions through www2.cpf.gov.sg/ert.
CPF users can also email the CPF at member [at] cpf.gov.sg / employer [at] cpf.gov.sg or contact the CPF Call Centre at 1800-227-1188.
