42-year-old Dennard Lee can only see shapes and silhouettes. Through the help of a sight guide, he’s able to scale rock walls - an activity he enjoyed before he lost his vision.

The use of walkie-talkies meant that instructions can be received clearly and allows Mr Lee to feel a sense of companionship while climbing.

“When we climb higher, the sight guide might not be able to see where’s the next hold for us … and we will have to hold on for a while. That fatigue is the hardest part during the climb,” said Mr Lee.
