15-year-old Singaporean teen takes on Formula 4
At just 15, Kareen Kaur is already clocking speeds of over 200kmh on the racetrack.
Go-karting since the age of 9, the thrill of the speed got her hooked on racing.
The Secondary 3 student has now made history as Singapore’s first female driver to compete in Formula 4.
She trains overseas as there is no Formula 4 track in Singapore.
“It can be really tiring if you are not strong enough. The male drivers are stronger so I have to work two times harder in order to win against them.”
