Trump kicks off Asia tour with ASEAN summit
United States President Donald Trump arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Oct 26 on the first leg of his Asia tour. He was welcomed by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Trump appeared in good spirits and even displayed his signature dance moves at the welcome ceremony.
Trump pledged America’s “100% commitment to Southeast Asia” and signed reciprocal trade agreements with Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam.
The US President presided over the signing of an agreement by Thailand and Cambodia to end all hostilities at the disputed border area.
