Huafa Ice and Snow World, the world’s largest ski resort, opened in Shenzhen on Sep 29. It covers 100,000 square metres - an area equivalent to 11 football fields.

The attraction has five slopes and a snow play zone.

Tickets start at 208 yuan (US$28) for two hours in the snow play area, to 998 yuan for a full day on advanced slopes. Annual passes cost nearly 24,000 yuan.
