14 pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong found guilty of subversion
Hong Kong’s Department of Justice says it intends to appeal against the acquittal of two defendants in a landmark national security trial, known as "the Hong Kong 47". Fourteen other opposition politicians and activists have been found guilty of breaching the Beijing-imposed national security law. They were prosecuted for participating in an unofficial legislative primary election in 2020, two weeks after the national security law took effect. Deborah Wong reports.
