AIC launches exhibition aimed at challenging age-related stereotypes

The Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) is aiming to redefine what it means to age as Singapore is set to become "super-aged" in two years. That is when more than a fifth of its population will be aged 65 and above. The AIC's photo exhibition is challenging traditional perceptions of ageing. CNA's Syahida Othman speaks with Dinesh Vasu Dash, CEO of AIC. He discusses ageist stereotypes and how prevalent they are in Singapore. He also talks about the challenges of reversing these stereotypes and the society's role in helping seniors to age well.
