Alvin Tan on evaluation of proposed acquisition of Trans-cab for anti-competitive practices

The Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore has received Grab’s notification of its proposed acquisition of Trans-cab. It will assess the impact of the proposed acquisition on competition and consult relevant stakeholders before reaching a decision on the matter. Minister of State for Trade and Industry Alvin Tan gave this update in reply to Parliamentary questions on Thursday (Aug 3).
