Amy Khor on NEA's social experiment The Waste Cafe
The Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment has noted the views of those who felt that The Waste Cafe, a social experiment by the National Environment Agency (NEA), could have been done differently and who suggested areas for improvement. Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Amy Khor, in her Parliamentary reply to an MP’s questions on Wednesday (Mar 1), shared that the collected used coffee cups from the campaign were repurposed into educational exhibits to raise public awareness about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling. She added that the ministry welcomes feedback from all parties and will take it into consideration to improve future campaigns.
