Amy Khor on return of trays and used crockery
Nine in 10 diners have been returning their trays and used crockery at hawker centres, coffeeshops and food courts. Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment Amy Khor said that based on the Tray and Crockery Return Rate (TCRR) of around 90 per cent, "many diners have been doing their part". Speaking in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 14), she said the National Environment Agency and Singapore Food Agency have been conducting checks and focusing on premises with a lower TCRR.
