Artificial intelligence a shared growth engine for South Korea and Singapore
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is in Singapore for a three-day state visit, with artificial intelligence high on the agenda. Speaking at the Korea-Singapore AI Connect Summit on Monday (Mar 2), Lee and Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan outlined plans to strengthen bilateral cooperation in AI. Among the announcements were a US$300 million global fund to be established in Singapore by 2030, expanded joint research initiatives and new memorandums of understanding covering AI research and business collaboration.
