ASEAN economic ministers are meeting in Kuala Lumpur to reaffirm their commitment to speed up attempts at integration to adapt to external changes. Host Malaysia is pushing to conclude a digital economy framework agreement, and further flesh out agreements for free trade, such as the RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) and the CPTPP (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership).
