US-Iran conflict: Tehran condemns strike from Washington on nuclear plant under construction
Iran's nuclear agency has blamed the US for attacking a nuclear power plant under construction in its southwestern province. It said the facility was struck with a number of projectiles on Jul 19 overnight and called America's actions aggressive, brutal and contrary to international law. This comes as Washington launched renewed strikes after the death of two American military personnel in Jordan following an attack by Tehran. Iranian state media reported explosions elsewhere in the city of Bandar Abbas and on Qeshm Island.
