The Land Transport Authority will build more covered linkways to connect MRT stations to designated streets and some key amenities nearby that are within an 800-metre radius of stations. Minister of State for Transport Baey Yam Keng highlighted this initiative in reply to an MP’s question in parliament on Friday (Sep 26).
